Tuning the Properties of Networks of Giant Surfactant Micelles

The presentation will describe self-assembled networks based on giant wormlike surfactant micelles and polymer chains or inorganic nanoparticles. The mixed networks demonstrate a synergistic increase in mechanical properties as compared to pure component solutions and stimuli-responsive behavior provided by easily tunable micellar structures and magnetic particles.
