72 students in each annual class enroll as first-year students for the ingénieur degree
Between 75 and 80 graduate with the ingénieur degree each year (in addition to the 72 first-year students, others are admitted as 2nd or 3rd-year students based on previous academic work ; annual classes are kept small in order to preserve the close interaction between teaching and research that is the hallmark of ESPCI ParisTech).
40% of first-year students are women.
38% of students received scholarships to cover the cost of tuition in 2010 (objective : 30% in 2010, with the introduction of a separate scholarship scheme for ESPCI ParisTech).
