The research activities of the Laboratory of Biochemistry (LBC) at ESPCI Paris PSL, directed by Prof. A. Griffiths, are based around droplet-based microfluidics, a powerful new ultrahigh-throughput system in which reaction volumes can be miniaturized by up to a million-fold compared to conventional assays in microtitre plates. This opens up exciting prospects for the development of extremely innovative systems with many applications in the Life Sciences.

Activities
We are seeking highly motivated engineer who would join our current team and work on fundamental project on single cells, or on applied research project in the fields of drug discovery, diagnostics or industrial enzymes.

Expertise
We wish to recruit 1 motivated engineer with background in microfluidics and interest in bioinformatics. Knowledge in molecular biology would be advantageous.

Flexibility, the ability to work in a highly multidisciplinary and international team (25 people from different nationalities) and good interpersonal skills are essential.

Fluency in oral and written English is required.
