Prof. Paul Rainey’s Lab

The research activities of the Laboratory of Evolutionary Genetics at ESPCI Paris, directed by Prof. Paul RAINEY, are based around the biophysics of living systems. The successful candidate will join a highly multidisciplinary team, with experience spanning biology, genetics and physics.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated post-doc to work on community evolution and the role of lateral gene transfer. Requirements are a PhD in microbial ecology or related fields and interest in genomics.

Flexibility, autonomy, the ability to work in a highly multidisciplinary team and good interpersonal skills are essential.

Recruitment terms :

Starting date : a soon as possible
Duration : 6 months renewable
Salary : according to professional experience
