Michelin sponsors ESPCI’s 144th engineering class
On September 15, 2025, ESPCI Paris – PSL held the sponsorship ceremony for its 144th graduating class. As it does every year, this iconic event pairs a major company with a new generation of engineering students, thereby strengthening the ties between scientific education and the industrial world.
For this graduating class, the school is honored to be partnered with Michelin, a global leader in composites and experiences that transform everyday life through its innovative leadership. Dominique Hellio, Director of Physics and Performance Modeling at Michelin and an ESPCI alumna, has been named the class patron.
“I’m very happy to have attended ESPCI and so proud to be the patron of the 144th graduating class today. ESPCI gave me a very solid scientific and technical foundation, a real asset for advancing in my career, and the confidence to take on exciting challenges,” she told the students.
The ceremony was held in the IPGG amphitheater, attended by the school’s president, Marie-Christine Lemardeley; the executive director, Vincent Croquette; representatives from Michelin; and members of the Student Council. The official signing of the agreement marked the launch of a four-year partnership offering a wealth of opportunities, including mentoring, lectures, workshops, site visits, and internships.
By welcoming Michelin as a sponsor, ESPCI continues its mission to train research engineers who are open to tackling major scientific, technological, and societal challenges. For the Class of 2014, this partnership represents a unique opportunity to engage with a leading industry partner and prepare to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.
