Organization and Governance

As an institution of the City of Paris and a member school of PSL University, ESPCI Paris – PSL has held autonomous administrative status since 2006. This organizational structure allows it to carry out its educational, research, and innovation missions with administrative and financial autonomy, while maintaining close ties with the City of Paris.

An organization dedicated to supporting the school’s missions

With its own legal status, budget, and financial autonomy, ESPCI has the necessary resources to implement its scientific and educational policies in a responsive manner.

Its governance and operations are based on several complementary levels: the board of directors sets the institution’s overall strategic direction, while the chief executive, the executive committee, the departments, and the divisions are responsible for implementing it.
