The 144th ESPCI Paris – PSL engineering class has started the New Academic Year!

In early September, ESPCI Paris – PSL was pleased to welcome the 144th class of its engineering program. This new generation of engineering students enriches the school’s community, continuing a tradition of scientific excellence and international openness.

A class of 90 engineering students
This year, 90 engineering students are entering ESPCI’s engineering program, a small class size that fosters strong camaraderie and personalized support. Women make up 34% of the class.

Rich and complementary profiles

• 58 students admitted through the X-ESPCI entrance exam
• 23 students admitted based on academic qualifications, from a variety of disciplines
• 4 students from integrated preparatory classes
• 2 in the BCPST program
• 1 student from the Fédération Gay-Lussac preparatory class in China: “Chemistry Shanghai”
• 2 students in an international dual-degree program

These students, who come from diverse and varied backgrounds, foster ESPCI’s interdisciplinary approach and openness to the world, two fundamental pillars of the school.

A growing international community A total of 12 international engineering students have chosen to join the school this year. Attracted by ESPCI’s unique focus at the intersection of physics, chemistry, and biology, as well as its location in the heart of Paris, this choice reflects the school’s global influence. Their presence helps strengthen the international dimension of the program and enriches the student body through the diversity of their backgrounds and cultures.
