shape

The 5th edition of the PSL Soft and Living Matter Days was held a few days ago at the school, bringing together the PSL community for three days to explore the themes of soft and living matter.

Researchers, postdocs, and doctoral students from various PSL laboratories gathered to discuss their work, explore new avenues for collaboration, and share the latest developments.

The presentations covered a wide range of topics, from the fundamental properties of soft matter to complex living systems, including innovative experimental and theoretical approaches at the intersection of physics, biology, and chemistry.

A rich and collaborative scientific program

The event featured numerous oral presentations, including invited talks by researchers from the member institutions of the Université Paris Sciences & Lettres.

Postdoctoral researchers were also given the opportunity to showcase their work through poster sessions and short oral presentations, allowing them to present their ongoing research.

Following these presentations, three winners were recognized for the quality of their contributions. Congratulations to them!

A moment of togetherness

This edition concluded with an evening event on a riverboat, offering the PSL community a unique setting to continue their discussions while taking in Paris’s iconic landmarks from the Seine. It was a warm and informal gathering that helped strengthen the bonds among participants from diverse backgrounds.

The PSL Soft and Living Matter Days highlighted the richness of the exchanges within the PSL scientific community.

See you next year for another edition!
