“Shape the Future of Science and Society” Event – The future of materials
ESPCI Paris – PSL is pleased to invite you to the first edition of the “Shape the Future of Science and Society” event, which will focus on “The future of materials.” This event is specifically aimed at researchers and industry professionals working in the field of materials.
Convinced that today’s major challenges lie at the intersection of science and industry, ESPCI aims to make “Shape the Future for Science and Society” a concrete bridge between materials science research and industry stakeholders. This event is an invitation to discover the work being done in our laboratories, engage with our teams, and identify avenues for collaboration that will drive innovation.
The goal is twofold. For industry, it is a rare opportunity to learn about the latest developments directly from researchers, to gain insight into the progress of their work in various fields, to identify obstacles to implementation, and to discover opportunities for collaboration. For the School, it is an opportunity to compare its progress with the expectations of the professional world, adjust its focus, and forge lasting partnerships with the business community.
Shape the Future is designed to be a catalyst event, featuring short, impactful presentations, a startup village, booths showcasing doctoral students’ work, targeted meetings, themed roundtables, and networking opportunities. Each participant is invited not only to observe, but also to co-create: to work with our researchers to identify technological barriers, tailor the industrial challenges we’ll tackle together, and devise concrete roadmaps.
By participating in Shape the Future, industry leaders can anticipate technological disruptions, embrace emerging knowledge, and forge transformative partnerships today. It offers a window into the innovations of tomorrow, shaped at the intersection of knowledge and practical application, and ESPCI is committed to making this an opportunity for new collaborations to emerge.
