Mickael Tanter elected to the Academy of Sciences
The school is proud to announce Mickaël Tanter’s election to the Academy of Sciences.
Inserm Research Director, professor at ESPCI Paris – PSL, and director of the Institute of Physics for Medicine. His research lies at the intersection of physics, biology, and medicine. His work focuses on developing techniques and methods based on the use of ultrasound to investigate biological functions, measure their characteristics, and even activate neurons, as well as on the medical applications of these techniques.
“I am very happy and honored by this election. Above all, this recognition reflects the collective success of the entire team. I am grateful to all my colleagues for our many years of collaboration,” said Mickaël, who has led the Physics for Medicine team for twenty years now.
